- Interesting summation of the Cubs contract situations for next year. The writing is not exactly easy to follow, but if you have a minute to decode it it is very interesting.

- So the Bears told Idonije to put on weight so he could play tackle, but now they are asking him to move to end?
- Gene Upshaw, head of the player's union for the NFL, dies this morning. That guy was negotiating CBAs since my parents were kids. Tragic.
