Touche, Cardinals Fans, Touche

As much as I hate the Cards and their fans, I have to give them props for this little message outside Busch Stadium:

I don't know if this will make up for their AA pitching staff, but respect for the effort. The first blow has been struck. Here's our response: A better team on paper and on the field. Keep writing in snow Cardinals fans, we'll see you in the spring.

I don't understand the feud between Cubs and Cardinals fans. The Cardinals have the second most championships (behind the yankees) and a winning organization. Furthermore, Cardinals fans have a reputation as being knowledgeable. The Cubs are the most pathetic organization in professional sports with fans that either don't care about the game or have accepted defeat. Why do the Cardinals fans waste their time? It would be like Barack Obama taunting John Edwards winning the presidency.

Then why are you anonymous? If you're so proud than come out of hiding. We'll see who wins on the field this year, bitch.
