The Big Aristotle Explains The Laws of Physics to an Unconscious Stuckey

If you missed it last night, Shaq put a hard foul on Stuckey in the Pistons-Lakers game. He was called for a flagrant 2 foul and subsequently ejected from the game.

You can be the judge on whether that was an intentional flagrant foul or not, but either way, Shaq's explanation is classic:

"The law of physics states that a body in motion stays in motion," O'Neal said. "And if you have two objects that meet in the air, the smaller object is going to fall much harder at the same rate of speed it was going. I've never been the type of player to take anyone out. I was going for the ball."

Has this guy ever taken responsibility for anything in his life ever? Ever? At least he is hilariously idiotic in his explanations about why nothing is his fault. I'm sure he passed physics at LSU when he was getting paid and not going to any classes.

What do you need for a great Basketball fight? A little bit of gangster tattooed punk attitude (Matt Barnes), an AND1 hero with something to prove (Rafer Alston), a giant over-the-hill idiot (Shaq), Half-Man Half-A-Season (T-Mac), and of course a feisty little old white guy (Steve Nash). • Bye, Bye, Illini. Those bowl hopes go out the window with that loss to Western Michigan. Western Michigan? Really?
• Kirk Hinrich is out for up to 12 weeks from a hand injury. That will shorten up the rotation even more. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but when does Larry Hughes come back?

• Remember when that Bulls guy always did this to the Cavs? Yeah we lost to Cleveland again. But at least we won a tough one at home against Phoenix Friday night. I guess the Suns plan to rest Shaq against the Bulls (what a slap in the face, they are so confident they can beat us they don't even need the Big Cactus) did not work out like they thought it would.
• More stupid Mark Cuban and the Cubs news. Shysterball thinks if Baseball tries to lock him out of buying the Cubs, they may have an anti-trust suit on their hands.
  

Big Diesel Gets Punked

The Big Moron (aka Shaq) was up to his usual tricks this preseason, mostly spouting off at the mouth like an idiot. He was bitching about Gregg Popovich utilizing the Hack-a-Shaq strategy in the Suns-Spurs playoff series last year by threatening Pop:

When you're down, I can see using that as a strategy. But when you're up 10, 15 points, there's really no need for that. That's a coward move. And he knows that. I'll make 'em pay for that.
