FREE TICKETS TO NEW YEARS BLACKHAWKS GAME AT WRIGLEY FIELD!!!

Just kidding. Did you really believe that title? Anyways, my buddy Andrew does have 2 tickets to the game at Wrigley Field. The seats are in Section 4, Row 11, seats 111 and 112. They are $350 a ticket, $700 for the pair. Email andrewjfine@gmail.com if you are interested. Here's a holiday option: buy the pair and invite Stormin Norman! I would pay for my ticket of course, but I can barely afford to keep the electricity on in my apartment. Go Hawks!

***Update: Here's a video from Wrigley today. Watch out for falling Zambonis!

Fan Foodie Launches

Our friends over at Hugging Harold Reynolds have launched a new site about eating food on the road at other ballparks. It is called Fan Foodie and here is what its about:
FanFoodie is for the frequent traveler who makes it a point to attend sporting events when on the road, and has a penchant for local cuisine. We tap some of the premiere locally-based sports bloggers on the web to offer their culinary tips and suggestions when rooting for the home team.
It's a very interesting and fun site. Also, surprise surprise, the featured article right now is about food at and around Wrigley Field by yours truly. Enjoy!

If You Want To Actually See a Game At Wrigley Don't Buy These Tickets

This picture comes from Home Run Derby, which has an article about the worst seats in baseball stadiums across America. If you've been to Wrigley, you have definitely had seats like this, though I have never seen one this bad.

Wow. It almost makes you want the Cubs to tear down Wrigley and build a new stadium in Schaumberg. Oh, wait, no it doesn't.
