Looks like Vasher is out for the year. He wasn't exactly playing well, but any lost depth in the secondary is bad news
Charlie Weis is fat. Oh yeah, and he's still employed, barely, after losing to USC (and pretty much everyone else).
Some 2009 Cubs schedule news. I will go into this 2009 schedule at some point later, but check out BCB's notes.
Ryan Theriot got the great baseball triple-double: errors, double-plays and caught stealings. And don't even get me started on tootblans.
Bulls big win last night left them 3-4 on the Circus Trip. Possibly the best 3-4 ever. December should be a breeze.
So some Spanish site linked NQTC, so what? That's not really global, you say? Well how about if a Polish site links us?

The Bulls played really well last night, until the 4th quarter that is. Spurs down the Bulls by 10.
Apparently Vasher is done for the year. Not that he was doing us any good, but a thinned out secondary is the last thing we need.
Brian Urlacher has something to say about all this crazy "bad father" talk. His baby's mama is not exactly the most reasonable woman.

Looks like Graham may have replaced Vasher as the starter. Apparently Vasher might not even be hurt anymore.
Derrick Rose gets three wishes from a genie but the genie dicks him over on the wishes. It's a funny read.
Is Singletary trying to assemble an all-85 Bears coaching staff in Frisco? I'm on board with it.
Scott Eyre thinks he only had one bad game with the Cubs and that's why he got moved. Ummm, Scott, I think perhaps you're mistaken about how many bad games you had.
So apparently Brenly is being considered for the Brewers job. Word is, Gracie would replace him in the booth.

Cubs lost. I'm not linking anything about it. It's not like you don't know or can't read about it EVERYWHERE.
The best way to make anything relevant or interesting is to make a nude calendar. Curling included.
Dwayne Wise tried to save them, but the Sox still lost on a typical Javy effort.

MLB puts ads up at Wrigley Field. I don't like it.
Vasher has surgery, will miss Detroit game.
Tommie Harris is mysteriously suspended for the game too. Not that he's done a whole lot thus far anyways.
Was that Javy Vazquez's last game in a Sox uniform?
Cubs fan tried to bean Manny the other night. I wish he had hit him in the head. I don't want him to be permanently damaged, just to miss this series.
