April 7th, 1992

I want to write more on this subject, but honestly I don't want to jinx it. April 7th, 1992. That was the last time that three Chicago Sports team had a share of 1st place at the same time. On this date the Bulls were tearing shit up and the Cubs and Sox both had won their first game or so of the season.

Today, 16 years and 5 months later, we got it again. Irregardless of the fact that the Cubs and Sox are both playing like absolute dog shit. Doesn't even matter that the Bears have only played one(huge) game. For the next day or so, Chicago has THREE TEAMS WITH A SHARE OF FIRST PLACE. Feels good.

Here are some events from 1992, the last time with 3 CHI teams in first: Jay Leno officially takes over for Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show. Hurricane Andrew hits Florida. Rodney King and the LA Riots. Bill Clinton wins the election to become President. Disneyland Paris officially opens under the name "EuroDisney". The Silence of the Lambs wins Best Picture and End Of The Road byBoyz II Men, Baby Got Back by Sir Mix A-lot and Jump by Kris Kross were the top songs.

Pretty freakin long ago, so enjoy havin 3 first places teams while it lasts....

Great story, though I think its a bit strange that the one thing you chose to link in it was Disneyland in Paris...

generally speaking, "irregardless" is not accepted as a word in the English language
