Actually, there's nothing annoying about Brandon McGowan being lost for the season. That guy sucks.
True, he does suck, but you know how we are at safety with injuries, we can always use more bodies, and he 'knows the system'. Payne for MVP?
Payne's played better than I thought. I really thought we were fucked--and, in fact, still might be--during the preseason when the safeties weren't able to make a play to get the defense off the field on third down. So far, though, the defense has looked pretty good and Payne has played better than I had any right to expect. Don't know how long he can keep it up, though.
