Kyle Orton Will Start, Harmony Restored In Bourbonnais

Kyle Orton is the opening day starter. What a long, strange trip it's been. Now that we have a Bona Fide number one guy, we can rest easy about the offense.

Great quote from the home page of ESPN.com. "At least Orton may provide the spark needed for the Bears to be a successful team." Patsfan 9493.

I think the Patriots fan base suffered greater psychological damage from their loss in the Super Bowl than we initially thought.

Kyle Orton is no sparkplug.

Now Caleb "Hotter than a Match Head" Hanie, on the other hand. There's a spark that could galvanize an offense.

Orton is the man. I'll take a guy that can pound a bottle of Jack way before I take the "short" and "retarded" QB. At least it seems like Orton has a pair and won't fall down every other play and fumble the ball. Plus, his grizzled look fits in much better as the face of the Bears, not some prissy guy like Grossman. I'm pumped for the Orton-era...even though the games will be significantly less exciting (with a plethora of 3 and outs and 150 yard passing games), at least we'll have a QB that isn't the joke of the league.

Is it wierd to anyone other than myself that since Orton has stopped partying (like a freshman in college), Robbie Gould has taken over as the biggest boozehound on the Bears. Thoughts? Concerns?

what does robbie gould have to be sober for?? HE IS A KICKER! He'll be fine, Orton needs the JD (not jason dyme) to get by with all the heat he will take from the chicago media until he shows his domination.
